And it was a body aid! Keep an eye on those hearing aids!

Aiden is such a cutie! I'll have to take stock in medical tape and pilot caps! haha

Leah - I love how you put it "the hearing aid hokey-pokey!" : )

Karen - It is definitely an emotional roller coaster, but gets a little better each day! The tears of sadness become tears of happiness as they reach different hearing milestones. I can't wait for the day that Aiden looks at me and tells me he loves me! The blogging world has helped me tremendously ... these moms & dads out here are absolutely wonderful! I call it my therapy! : ) Feel free to email me at mjk_tjk@yahoo.com if you'd like to chat sometime!tammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11440760114820803415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9215523017394843004.post-50179543388932985542008-07-19T21:46:00.000-05:002008-07-19T21:46:00.000-05:00Tammy,I have read your blog several times and crie...Tammy,

I have read your blog several times and cried more than once. This is all such an emotional rollercoaster. I would definitely love to chat sometime and am new to blogging. I always joked that I didn't want to start one becuase I didn't have anything to write about...I guess I should have been careful what I wished for! However, this is the best support and therapy I could get! He's learned the hearing-aid hokey pokey!

Pilot caps worked well at this age with Nolan, but it is so hot in the summer I can't bear to stick him in the hat again (we have no A/C). It can definitely become a game. My mother just a put a baby bonnet on my head to prevent me from taking my hearing aids out. I know that some parents who have baby boys will use some kind of pilot cap.

Aidan looks absolutely adorable in those pictures!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9215523017394843004.post-88224950595365081772008-07-18T23:20:00.000-05:002008-07-18T23:20:00.000-05:00When Mari started tearing them out we had quite th...When Mari started tearing them out we had quite the routine. Get paper medical tape and literally tape right over the mold and tube and tape them to his ear. Then put a pilot cap on top of that as extra protection!MBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07206411306306537264noreply@blogger.com
